The Martin Residence reinvents the timeless design of Art Deco with a touch of modern flair. This space will utilize dark bold colors such as navy blue and dark green with hints of gold and white used throughout the condominium. Using an open concept to create the living, dining and kitchen area will make the space will feel warm and welcoming to guests. Lots of seating will be used so the Martins can entertain. Other elements such as a custom island, lighting fixture and office space will make the space feel more unique and help standout.
The condominium will incorporate aspects of universal design so the Martins can age with their home and make adapting to the space easier as they get older. The bathrooms will use ADA compliant furnishings and fixtures. The layout of the living room, dining room and kitchen will be designed so the spaces are all easily accessible. Energy star rated appliances and fixtures will help keep costs down and will have a better impact on the environment. The clients wants and needs were considered when designing this space so they will feel comfortable and feel as though they truly belong in the space.
