The Watson Residence

The Watson Residence was completed in the Fall of 2020, this was our first residential project. The style for this project was inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement in late 1800s. Along with this project we were to find a famous artist from the Arts and Crafts movement and use some of their pieces, for my project the artist that I choose was Gustav Stickley. 

For this project we focused on the living room, master bedroom, and master bathroom. We were also challenged with designing a staircase and fireplace that reflected the movement. In my design I focused on dark earth tone colors and dark wood tones, to make the space feel brighter I choose light fabric colors.
