Created over the course of a year, Fall 2023 - Spring 2024.  Antelope Canyon Recovery Center is an outpatient treatment center for those struggling with addiction. Located in Flagstaff, Arizona, inspiration was taken from the Antelope Canyon.

The Antelope Canyon Recovery (ACR) is a treatment recovery center located in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona. The ACR is focused on creating an environment focused on support, encouragement, and creating a sense of community. ACR is a specialized substance abuse treatment center, helping individuals overcome their addiction, all while helping them take control of their lives again. The facility will offer a variety of amenities and necessities needed to help reduce stress and focus on recovery. Not only will it center on recovery, but the users’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The common areas located on the 1st floor are centered on facilitating social support within the built environment by offering community lounge space, dining areas, and kitchen space. It will also provide additional resources such as a fitness/wellness room, meditation room/library, café/lounge, and additional resources to aid in mental health, stress reduction, and social support of users. In the common areas, inspiration from the vibrant desert landscape, the interior embraces warm earth tones, natural textures, and ample natural light to create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere that reflects the beauty of Arizona’s surroundings. A mix of light and dark wood tones will be spread throughout the space to bring a sense of nature and life into the building. Comfortable furniture and durable finishes will aid in the overall design aesthetic but allow for long lasting and welcoming environment.
